From Madrid:
Upon leaving Madrid, go
north on the M30 for 1.2 kms, then take “la Nacional II”
(N-II) in the direction of Alcalá de Henares (Guadalajara) for
11kms and continue towards Zaragoza for 300 kms. From
Zaragoza, continue on “la Nacional II” towards Sariñena
(Huesca) for 2.6 kms. Once you arrive to the town of Santa
Isabel (after crossing an iron bridge) you will see a signal
indicating the direction of Sariñena (A131). Turn left where
indicated. Once you are on the road to Sariñena you will
travel approximately 67 kms. Extreme caution is advised on
this road as it is not in optimum conditions. From Sariñena
(be sure to notice its beautiful lake as you pass through) you
will continue towards Fraga (still on A131) about 17kms more
until you reach Villanueva de Sijena.

From Barcelona:
Take the A2/E15 out of
Barcelona for approximately 7 kms. You will then continue on
the A7/E90 in the direction of Lérida (Lleida) for another 105
kms. Take exit 4 “Fraga”. Once you have exited the toll road
follow the sign to the “Monasterio de Sijena” until you arrive
at an intersection with the “national” highway. Before
arriving at the intersection you will pass two round-abouts (6
kms from where you exited the toll road). Continue straight on
the A131 and stay on this road until you reach Villanueva de
Sijena (approx. 38kms). Extreme caution is advised on this
road as it has many curves and is not in optimum
conditions
